Mobile Email Management
It was really quite a learning process to go through the steps on
how to access Gmail on a Nokia S60 mobile phone and to manage it
in times when the mobile phone's signal strength is not strong
(due to unavoidable factors and circumstances). This article
gives some suggestions and tips on how you can manage your email
from your mobile phone if you use Gmail, a Nokia S60, and Ovi.com
email as back-up for your Gmail account.

What Happened to the Apostles after Pentecost?
We celebrated Pentecost Sunday last May 31, 2009. We can recall
how the Holy Spirit descended upon Mary and the apostolic
community, to give them the power to preach the truth of the Good
News, as Jesus did in both word and deed. Since they were given
this strength and courage, these apostles traveled to distant
places where all of them, except John, suffered martyrdom. A
series of blog posts will describe what happened to each one of
them as told to us by both Eastern and Western traditions, and by
the references from Scripture - specifically the book of the Acts
of the Apostles.
Part one: Sts. Peter, James the Great, John
Part two: Sts. Andrew, Thomas, James the Less
Part three: Sts. Philip, Bartholomew, Matthew
Part four: Sts. Simon, Jude Thaddeus, Matthias
15th Sunday of the Year (B)
We continue reflecting on the gospel of Mark. This Sunday's gospel
speaks about Jesus commissioning His Twelve apostles to undertake
a mission of expelling evil spirits, anointing the sick, and to
work many cures. The gospel presents to us that part of our
Christian life which has a missionary dimension: one that is
directed towards the building of God's kingdom and fully trusting
in His Providence for the success of the mission.

Recluses, Hermits, and Anchorites
The lives of the saints are like a prism that breaks out into many
colors when light is shown through it. The saints so far that are
presented in this blog were: martyrs, doctors of the Church, the
Fathers of the Church, founders and foundresses of religious
congregations and orders, priests, bishops, and some exemplary
religious. There is still a group of saints that lends another
color to the prism of holiness in the Church. These are the holy
recluses, hermits, and anchorites. This blog post will present
a select sample of these saints so that we too can learn from
them the pursuit of wisdom and holiness through a life of prayer,
interiority and solitude.
